I recommend saving up and waiting for something to go on sale, because there really is no such thing as completely free good editing software. Anything that has a chance at actually making something professional looking (Final Cut Pro X, Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere) all have a fee attached. Even free editors probably have some sort of package that requires you to pay for better effects or features, such as the ability to use keyframes or various tools to work with audio, etc.
Also, no. Youtube is not dying. Big pages like Pewdiepie or H3H3 might cry about it and say "OH MY GOD SOUND THE ALARM YOUTUBE IS DYING", when really, its just that their channels are dying, not the platform itself. YouTube has about 1.9 Billion users active montly, and over 30 million daily. So in no way is YouTube close to dying.
TL:DR: You get what you pay for.
Also TL:DR: YouTube isn't dying.
- An experienced, unprofessional video editor.
Thats my problem, I don't have money right now and thats why im trying to get soemwhat decent editor thats free. For me right now is that if it works and does what i need done im happy with it.
For both of you i understnad Hitfilis good and all but ive tried it and it WILL NOT run on my laptop at all.
Yes acually i did a test run and it runs smoothly on my laptop and records beutifully. Suprisingly lol.
No clue what you asked but its a HP notebook from wallmart which cost me a bout $200. It can run most games but once it gets to high graphics or large multiplayer it sucks on framerate.
He was referring to the first editing software he mentioned:
I have no experience with Filmora nor have I heard of it, so just use at your own risk OP.
I am trying out a software called shotcut, if either of you guys have heard or used it. I hope it will work becasue all i want is something that can cut parts of videos and add music and thats about it.
