worst things from a bad lets player
dont you hate it when you wana find a guide, watch someone else fail or beat soemthing in a game but theres always that one annoying thing or more

1. insufferable commentary

2. bad jokes

3. wont shut up

4. starts singing. (dspgaming)

5. is a total try hard at comenrary

6. jump cuts
these are nice when they are done right by cutting out filler and back tracking
but those who dont edit or dont bother showing how to beat a puzzle, boss or find a item is annoying

7. the playlist is incomplete...

8. bad acting and editing
so heres a rare thing, in markipliers dead space 3. the screen went blank and jeff the killer popped up and he was confused but come on, no way thats in the game
and was a total pervert in his playthrough

also his warfstache video i think he saw my comment and he denied that the supporting characters had bad masks but they were and they just pointless. so mark is weird and a lier.

My solution is to find zero-commentary video walkthroughs, because I want to watch the game, not hear a commentator yammering into my ear.

I know of something even worse; Auto-Narration via Text to Speech.

It's rare, but when it happens it's unforgettably bad. You mostly get it from European and South American Lets Players, who often make things even more interesting by Google Translating the script into English. What you get depends on the original language, but it ranges from the ramblings of a madman to the stuttering diction of a broken robot that's running out of battery.

I know of only one content creator who's made Text to Speech work, and that's Rinzler. And that's only because Rinzler does it ironically and for comic effect - and uses scripts that get the most from TTS' deadpan tone.

Yelling/talking obnoxiously loud in attempts to be funny.
Shouting and screaming.
Playing meme games for views.
Blaming the game or other players for their lack of skill or understanding of the game.
Whoring their merch.

"Dooooon't forget to. LIKE! SUBSCRIBE! AAAAAND SHARE!"
Haven't shared one video from YT ever.

I remember back in the early youtube days when not many people had capture cards so they record the tv screen with their camera.
Similar to the second one; when a let's player is constantly making references to things irrelevant to the game for poor attempts at comedy.

Bad microphone quality can be pretty annoying, especiially if there's audible background noise which can be heard throughout the entire video.

If you're looking for a guide just look at a guide instead of a full lets play maybe?

That depends on what kind of game it is. Some games don't offer many guides, and others require video footage to understand how to get past certain parts.

I just dont think watching markiplier die 40 times is the best way to do that.
