Does Valve only make games which were mods?

Did anyone notice that valve only makes games which were mostly mods in other games basically they have 0 skill for making their own game and every game they made will die in it's 2 - 5th's year. All valve does is milk's money outta people by making skins changing UI a bit then releases misc or directs main focus on tournaments so the game will live on by players who play it will remain distracted and fooled by their money milking plans. Artifact is striking example of their current state and their success, "Change my mind."

Valve is a lazy selfish sloth that refuses to do anything while the bridges burn around it. Not even into february and we lost Metro.

First of all, Valve got a great success because they sold their game's biggest mod: Counter-Strike.
I also wish they got able to count 3 though.

Half-Life (1) came from a modified Quake engine, Team Fortress and Counter-Strike from a modified HL1 multiplayer, Portal is remodelled student demo, Left for Dead is original game, DOTA 2 is having origins from Warcraft 3 multiplayer mod (Defense of the Ancients). Artifact is rip off from diverse card games.

it basically went like this

quake ==> half-life, counter-strike, etc ==> half-life 2 ==> counter-strike: source ==> day of defeat: source ==> team fortress 2 ==> left 4 dead (from cs:s) ==> left 4 dead 2 ==> counter-strike: global offensive (from cs:s on l4d2 engine version)

Valve licensed the Quake Engine to create GoldSrc and to create Half-Life which was a stand-alone game. Using a game engine to make a game doesn't make it a mod.
