Does anyone know what games are fun to speedrun? I've arleady tried Half-Life and Need For Speed: Most Wanted 2005 but I'd like to try something new

Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc is a great speedrun game , a glitchless run roughly takes 3 hours and basically you just rush through all levels fast , maybe skip a few sections by making precize jumps , and besides that you just rush through the game , spyro games are great for speedrunning too , sonic games except for unleashed are ideal for speedrunning too ( unleashed has the issue with the sun and moon medals , you would need to memorize 120 sun medals for a speedrun to unlock the final day stage without backtracking )

another great speedrun game if you dont mind hard glitches is Paper Mario All Cards , you basically dont play the game one bit like its intended , you enter the 2nd area ,get a partner , then skip straight to the 5th area through a very precize glitch called blue house skip , basically you dont do anything in the order you are supposed to


A Hat In Time is a very good speedrun game , even has a speedrun timer in the options

super meat boy is a great speedrun game as well , but its kinda hard

short games can be great for speedrunning too , like portal 1 and 2 ( wether you play with or without glitches , both games shouldnt take long

if you want something hard , mario bros 3 warpless is a great speedrun too

undertale probably is a good speedgame as well , as long as a game isnt long , its usually good for speedrunning

also , what about oot any% thats another rather short category

lastly , another game that is a surprisingly fun speedrun game is sticker star , as much as the game is annoying , the speedrun of it looked really fun and organized
