Can this pc build run fortnite at 144 fps?
I'm planning on upgrading my pc in the future, and I am wondering if it can run fortnite battle royale at a solid 144 fps. And will it be able to run at 144 fps in dense areas like tilted towers?

Future PC Specs:
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080 ti
CPU Intel Core i9 9900k
RAM: 16GB

That's a way overkill CPU. Way, way overkill; most games won't be able to utilize all the extra cores. Unless if you're going to be rendering a super detailed scene in Blender in the background, I don't see any point in having a blasted i9-9900k of all things, which last I recall is just a repackaged i9-7900k. You'll do great with an i5 or i7 of almost any semi-recent-to-recent generation of CPU. Save that money for extra SSD space or a better GPU or something.

First, I like going overkill with pc upgrades. I mean I already bought that 1080 ti for MINECRAFT. then i got into other games.
Second, I have a core i5 and it runs like crap in tilted towers, even at the lowest resolution.

If you wanna go overkill, a smarter overkill would be to get an i7-9700k (or something like that) and get a 2080Ti.

I can play Fortnite at a really decent FPS on an i3-6100, so there's no reason. Plus, adjusting resolution changes almost nothing for CPU usage, FYI.
