Why are PC games cheaper than Consoles?
If its either Steam, any other platform. And those CDKEY selling sites? Why are PC games so cheap?

Better market
New release on a pc 60 dollars. New release on a console 60 dollars. How is one cheaper then the other? What you are seeing most likely is sale prices.

Yeah, why are sales happen more than consoles?

Console manufacturers sell their hardware at a loss. To compensate for this, they charge developers licensing fees for using their platform. Therefore, it's more expensive to develop a console game than a PC game which requires no such fees.

Its only really Nintendo that overcharges on console games. Sony and Microsoft prices are quite reasonable.

They're more reasonable than Nintendo for sure. But their sales can still leave a bit to be desiered since, at least on PS4, you need to pay for a PS+ sub to get deals that are only sometimes comparable to PC sales.

If I'm not mistaken, none of the consoles this gen sell for a loss. I think the Switch just barely breaks even.

The loss margin has decreased dramatically in recent generations, but still hardware isn't where they make the bulk of their money.

CDKEY selling sites source their keys with stolen credit cards so of course they can sell them cheap.

Consoles makers charge a fee for letting their games be available on them like sloth says.

No its because they price them cheap in poorer countries.

At least do some research first before you say no!

Well who are not aware, then Steam implement regional pricing around the world... so most games in countries like India, China, Russia, South-East Asia etc. are cheaper... that means a $60 game would be priced at $20-30. But then again, that depends upon publishers... as from what I know that Steam advises em the preferred price for that region but publisher can change it if they want. But nevertheless, 80-90% of games are decently priced on Steam... except for ofcourse Call of Duty and some other AAA games -_-

This is one of the many reasons. Apart, from that sales is also a huge reason for games being cheap compared to consoles.

PC games used to be $50 and I think Call of duty MW 2 is the first $60 game on PC that started the 60 trend.

Not every game under $60 is an indie game.
