Alex Jones banned from Facebook, Youtube and various other sites
Anyone know what he actually did to get banned? Seems weird that everyone banned him at once, they basically made a martyr out of him by doing so.

You don't ban the dissenting voice you facepalm that is tyranny. That Lauren Southern has Libertarian and Conservative views and not a white supremacy alt righter. Don't be a shill and useful idiot. Do you even know the saying "I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." aka Lauren Southern types.

She should have considered that before publicly expressing discriminatory opinions.

The 1965 Race Relations Act introduced Britain’s first legal ban on the incitement of racial hatred.

Provoking the public peace and being disrespectful towards the religion and customs of others is certainly not a civil discussion.

We are not America where the crime rate for shootings and homicide is much higher than any other first world country, we do not want the political unrest that you have.
And Americans for the most part do not want the restrictions on freedoms that Europeans have

Nothing about the urban European lifestyle appeals to me

That’s the “nice” way to put it, but the accurate way to put it, is that the “means of production have been seized.” (this is, also Carl Marx’s definition) Which if you have a small cabal which colludes with the government, running the production, then it has been seized. This, and corporatism =/= capitalism.
Yeah it's clear you're an expert on, uh, Carl.

Seized by the people, yes. Hence socialism. There is no "small cabal which colludes with the government" about it; that's the right's fantasy version of socialism, based on observing dictatorships. Socialism is opposed to the kind of vertical hierarchy and unequal distribution exemplified by the word "cabal".

It's a bit like accusing the local public school of being run by a "small cabal colluding with the government". It's not "collusion", it's normal operation when you're talking about a service that's owned by, run by, accountable to the people.

Remember, the first amendment only applies to the United States and Google is a multinational company.

Good luck believing you can say whatever you want or disrespect the customs of other cultures if you ever leave America.

Unlikely though since almost half of Americans don't even own passports, let alone understand how the world works outside of America

Britian is a tollerant country, because it is a liberal democracy and being tollerant of views that people don't agree with is what British tollerance is about. While the law needs to be applied fairly is another British standard. I don't see tollerance or fairness in what was done to Lauren Southern. Shameful day for Briton for sure.

Your entire “argument” is “you didn’t apply the proper platitudes, and used the alternate spelling for the name of a political “thinker,” so your opinion is invalid.” My name is Alexander, I don’t care when Eastern Europeans spell it Aleksandr.

EUROPE is a much better place to live than the USA.

Safety: personal firearms are rarely seen, not to mention how police brutality in the USA is insane whereas more people tend to trust police officers in Europe.
Healthcare: it costs much less in Europe, and in some countries like Spain it is basically free. In addition, a lot of Americans flee the USA to get treatment in cheaper places.
Food: America’s generalized industrial food is far from usual, as Europeans’ diets contain more fresh, natural food. The Mediterranean diet, which is popular in France, Spain, Italy, Greece and is currently spreading out to other countries, is said to be one of the healthier and most balanced in the world. Moreover, fast food restaurants are less frequented.
Culture: America might be a mix of different cultures, but in the end everyone acts as “Americans”. However, in Europe you have so many cultures, that keep their traditions, very close to each other.
Transport: most of the EU is connected by rail and boasts a huge number of frequencies. Also, flying to other European capitals is much cheaper, as there are a lot of low cost airlines with a lot of competence. Due to the fact that European countries are much smaller that the USA states, huge cities like London, Berlin, Milan, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Munich, Frankfurt, Madrid or Zurich are connected with 1–2 hour flights.
History: Europe is called “the old continent” and The United States of America itself was stablished by European immigrants. That’s all I have to say.
Globalization: Europe is full of different languages and most of them have the same roots, so learning new languages is much more accessible and easy. Plus, economically speaking, trade in Europe has so much potential as it is full of different markets.
Travelling: I have already mentioned how European countries are really close and travelling is cheaper than in the USA. But, on top of that, just by looking at a map you will notice how Europe is closer to other continents and exotic cultures. Flying from, let’s say Paris, to Africa, Middle East, Turkey, India and even China and South-east Asia is much shorter than doing it from the USA, and therefore cheaper. For example, a flight from Frankfort (in the centre of Europe) to Dubai lasts 6h30, whereas flying from New York (not in the centre of the USA) to Dubai lasts 12h30, almost double!!
And not to talk about lifestyle, working hours, wages…

Eastern Europeans don't spell your name Aleksandr. They spell the name Aleksandr Aleksandr. That isn't your name.

My argument is not about platitudes, it's about substance. The idea that "corporatism is socialism" betrays a fundamental lack of understanding about what socialism is. Socialism is a radical rejection of capitalist hierarchical structures, of which corporations are an example.

The government manipulation of free enterprise is a form of fascism and it isn't any better
Lol, That’s not the definition of fascism, but if those are the two options, then yeah, I’ll take fascism. Aside from this, that’s still avoiding the point that you have small group exerting a great deal of power over the population, and with them, it’s not elected representatives. So, you’re more, or less saying “it’s fine so long as they’re not elected.” Furthermore, and I don’t think you’ve addressed this directly yet, but the laws, which the supreme court upheld, congress passed, and the duly elected president of the United states signed into to law, in a manner IAW the constitution of the United States, say that monopolistic companies must be broken up, for the public’s interest. By saying they should just have to follow their OWN rules, I’m actually being more lenient than what the law prescribes. I cannot think of a SINGLE social media company, who’s nearest competitor controls a portion of their market sector, which is even 5% of what the leading social media companies do.
I didn't say that it was the "definition" of fascism. I said "it's a form of fascism". The government control and distribution of content and services by means of corporate influence is very much in the relm of fascism.

Now don't get me wrong; it isn't particularly the legislation you want to being against FB that alarms me. It's the legislation that might be passed 10 or 20 years from now that will include all media outlets. What makes you think this will stop with FB? Why not include all media outlets that you think distribute content unfairly?

I could debate with you why I’m much more content here, than I on a gloomy Island with 1984 style laws, Islamic grooming gangs, high alcoholism, bad food, and ugly women (I’ve been there), but I’d rather ask you this. If you really think the US is so bad, then shouldn’t you want US social media, with its evil “alt-right” muricans, off your internet? https://imgur.com/a/9n3rUkh

Hey Pizmo,

Enjoy your obese entitled women and expensive healthcare instead of beautiful European women.

Enjoy paying thousands of dollars for healthcare.

Enjoy worrying about someone shooting you with a gun.

You should spend a week traveling Europe, you won't want to go back to America.

Everything bad you said about the U.S. is greatly over exaggerated. The police are not beating people in the streets, we are not all up to our eyeballs in medical debt, ect..

I am happy you like where you live but it holds absolutely no appeal for me.

The police watching every thing I do, living in small apartments, relying on public transportation, paying over half my income in one tax or another, and so on... I'll take the farmlands of Northwest America any day of the week

All first worlder countries have entitled fat obese women.

Yeah, because just trust some random doctor like a random public defender with your life is such a good idea.

Enjoying having no sovereign right to defend yourself with a gun when you are getting raped.

Yeah come to Europe and see the rise of the new age fourth Reich.

I can understand the slippery slope concern, but it seems as if it’s working in the opposite direction right now. It’s not just people like Alex Jones being banned, it’s people like Ron Paul, and what? His entirely malevolent anti-war council? This, and I’ll remind you that some of these companies, aren’t hiding their positions on censorship. Some of their higherups have outright said they don’t think the first amendment should cover “hate speech.”
