Unique Username vs Common Username

Tell me what you nice fellas prefer. Games that allow you to have the same usernames as others or a unique username for every individual?

Lets face it, people that search your username know who you are in the first place and only famous people have to worry about impersonators.
I also hate anything where you are stuck with whatever stupid nick you chose back in 2013 or have to pay an ungodly sum of money to change it.
The current system works fine, and is going to continue working fine.

Transitioning actually makes you lose humanity on CP2077 so it's not ideal
