why do people hate origin?
People love to hate EA. I get that, but after 5 years of using it I honestly don't see what's wrong with origin. Enlighten me.

1. Limited game variaty.
2. Major sale prices are always the same.
3. Lack of complete editions/bundles.
4. DosBox retro games are poorly optimized compaired to the ones sold on GoG.
I hate Origin.

And I've never used it nor have I ever SEEN it.

I think that the hate for Origin could be a sickness.

Yeah, and the sad part is that some of the better games that where given out also had missing content. They did that just give people a reason to buy the missing DLCs.

Pretty much anything from EA is going to be at least somewhat cancerous.

People hate Origin because it's owned by EA and uPlay because of Ubisoft.

Had couple of times installations ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up on Origin, but then again i had the same issue with CS Go on Steam. Experience using uPlay was awesome, never had any issues. Honestly, Steam is the worst platfrom when it comes to glitches.
I don't hate origin but I have not seen many games from there that I would be interested in buying.

I think most of us use those "publisher exclusive" clients just to play some specific games such as Battlefield games on Origin and Siege on Uplay, and care more about Steam as the main.
What makes you think we are hating Origin?

I don't hate origin, but I'm not going to make an account on there just for the few games I want to play on there. They ain't gettin me that easy.

People used to hate Steam too.

I don't hate it, but I don't use it. Steam meets my needs for a digital distribution platform for games, and I don't want to have to use multiple DRM clients for accessing games.

There were several EA games that I would have bought if they had been available on Steam (Dragon Age 3, Mass Effect 3, Sim City), but I skipped them. There is nothing wrong with EA selling their titles exclusively on Origin, others do the same. I just won't go out of my way to shop there. I did buy DA:O, DA2, ME1 and ME2 on Steam.
