Never had that problem. I find it funny that I actually got mine to watch Death Note, and they enjoyed it. The little foot rub thing freaked them out a bit though.

My parents didn't care. Besides I grew up watching far worse things in my younger years. I was raised on horror movies. So I've already seen my share of exposed goods. Plus anime wasn't a big thing till my early teen years so by that time seeing a lewd moment in an anime wasn't a problem.

I watched Dragon Ball as a kid, and everyone including their dog knows how weird it can be sometimes, but they didn't care. To them, it was just yet another cartoon.

Watching anime is completely normal in most Asian countries. When I was in elementary school, my classmates and I would talk about the latest episode. My school friends and I used to watch Akazukin Chacha.
