Why does Naruto get so much hate?

Im rewatching it from S1E1 and its REALLY good, I watched it when I was younger but didnt really absorb the show, but I always see / hear people making fun of it... like its a bad anime... it really isnt that bad..

I give him ♥♥♥♥ because everyone else BUT Naruto, fight. Let me clearify, I understand that in Naruto they were ninjas in training so that excuses that but in Shippuden they're adults and pretty pro ninjas and all the adults still do most of the fighting. He basically has no real talent but I also get that, he's the underdog, the guy nobody thinks can whoop ass, and he can't but he trains hard AF. The story was a bit silly towards the end, and they just forgave Sasuke. Like WTF, that guy was a damned terrorist trying to kill Konaha but we will let him run for Hokage. Also like WTF, why would treat Naruto like ♥♥♥♥, why would you lie to him about a power like that or who his father was and why the hell didn't Naruto see the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ difference with him and his dad? I can go on. I sat through the entire series twice. Once initially and then again after the series ended. Also Naruto's real power is just convincing his enemies to commit suicide...

I like and dislike it. On one hand, the serious parts of the story are pretty cool and can sometimes be pretty intense. On the other hand, all the way through the show I often feel like it’s quite cringey and certain aspects of the characters really annoy me to the point of not wanting to watch it anymore.

A lot of it was the fact that it went mainstream, but also a lot of it is the fact it is a manga developed specifically for young teenage boys and has zero solid story, with cheap emotional attempts at manipulation. It is a Trope anime, and anyone that likes a good story or solidly develop characters almost automatically dislike sit and they tend to be the most vocal of opponents for it. The reason it's so popular is the fact that most people just don't give a crap about what's going on in there media unless they get a little bit of a thrill or laugh. There's nothing wrong with Naruto as long as you accept that Naruto's not really good. I watched a lot of it.

No matter how old you get, you never stop imagining a different life as a kid. Your right though that naruto isnt as good as say spirited away for example but then again its not the same thing.
What ive noticed about manga is it always seems relative to something going on in real japanese life but dressed up differently to enage the kids and fans. The male female issue they have currently seems to feature far to much in anime these days but hey what can you do when the makers only listen to their own native fanbase.
