What was the first F2P game you played?
I don't remember so, i think Roblox or some other random game.
EDIT: It was Need For Speed: World (closed in 2015.)

I had a chance to play Quake Live and Ace of Spades back when it was, free, in beta and before jagex bought it and made it really ♥♥♥♥. But that was back on my really crappy laptop.

When I upgraded from that to a desktop computer with a real (but crappy) gfx card, I played Battlefield Heroes.

Needless to say, it set a very good precedent for just how bad a "free to play" game could get. Thanks EA.
Roblox, if that counts. I remember playing it so early in its lifespan that almost every damn map allowed players to use a delete tool.
Probably something on a website like Miniclip tbh. Forget what exactly.
Do those old Flash game websites count?
Probably roblox when it wasn't a cringy mess
Team Fortress 2.
Battlefield 1942 when it was free on Origin's On the House (rest in peace)
Dumbass Bass
I take it we are classing old school shareware as a "demo" and thus not F2P.

As such I'd have to say Perfect World MMO back in 2004/5

(If shareware counts then Doom back in 1993).
Natural Selection.

No wait, it was that block game that had multiplayer. And no, it is not any of the current iterations. This was literally like 2004.
First f2p game I ever played was a multiplayer flash game called tdp4, used to be one of the most popular game that didn't require you to download anything but a flash player. Now barley anyone goes online to that game.

Or Flash...Probably the most security flaws of any tech.
First F2P game I played was an old flash game, played way too many of them as a kid on old computers at school and at home to remember any names of them. I remember half the class would get on coolmath or whatever the site was called and play a variety of flash-based games on it, mainly due to it being a game site that the school's firewall let by.

If it counts, my school did have an old, probably pre-2000 PC with Oregon Trail on it that I played in like, 4th grade, but it was technially free, well, free for me and the entire class anyways.
