Ways Bethesda COULD screw up The Elder Scrolls 6
Adding the Creation Club
It's already been determined that the new installment to the Elder Scrolls series will be able to be modded in various ways via graphics, gameplay or immersion. But because of this, it is highly likely that Bethesda will be pushing the Creation Club into the new installment which for many is a reason to just boycott Bethesda for life. Let's pray for the best.

The Fallout 4 Effect
You're probably asking "uuhhh, what's the Fallout 4 effect?" Basically when a sequal to a popular game series is released, despite it selling well and being reviewed well it fails to live up to the reputation of it's predecessors. The Elder Scrolls 6 may fall victim to this effect due the impossible standard set by The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, but it probably won't hurt the game too much.

Not having enough to differentiate itself from it's predecessors
Every Elder Scrolls game has been different in one way or the other: Some added new features while others took away features. I think we can both agree that we don't want a repeat of Skyrim's combat or the clunkiness of Oblivion. They tried to change the combat for The Elder Scrolls Online but I personally found it to be a bit bizarre. I'm not saying Bethesda should completely change the combat, but maybe add a bit to it. Like the ability to block while duel wielding or maybe a dogde mechanic (Seriously, if bandits in Skyrim can dodge my arrows with no problem then why can't I?).

Being too easy
Let's be honest, even playing Skyrim on legendary is a cake walk. The only thing that changed was how many times you had to hit the enemy until they fall over. I'm not saying it should be like Dark Souls (that would actually make the game worse in my opinion), but it should give us some sort of challenge instead of walking us through it like WE'RE challenged.

Having a limited voiced character
That's what I hated about Fallout 4, you could customize almost everything EXCEPT his generic voice. I don't care if they do it Dragon's Dogma style (Same voice types just with a different pitch) I just don't want my grizzled Nord warrior to sound like an average joe.

Conclusion
That's all I am able to come up with, I might update it when I think of more. But in the meantime, in what way do you think Bethesda COULD screw up The Elder Scrolls 6? Discuss down below!

well the creation club is already in Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE, so of course it's gonna be in TESVI, the only thing that makes me worried is that they could potentially never release the creation kit to the public and keep it to their own modders in order to make the CC seem more valuable since right now... it's really garbage compared to free mods

Well bethesdas reputation isnt what it used to be, their games could very well be a bitter disappointment.

Don't forget to add about their launcher, that if the game will only be available through there the majority wouldn't like that.

Make it online-only.

They already tried that with ESO and I think they've learned from their mistake

Me neither, but Fallout 76 and potentially DOOM Eternal might be.
The Creation Club isn’t going to ruin it unless they remove all other forms of modding which is incredibly unlikely.

Being worse than Skyrim doesn’t mean the game will be bad.

By the time TESVI releases it will be around a decade since Skyrim came out and they would have worked on F4 and Starfield in the meantime, there’s no way I can think of it being too close to Skyrim just based on the timeframe alone

This point is fine

They’d have to hire 20 voice actors for every gender of every race to give TES a voiced protagonist, and considering the reaction of it in F4 was mostly negative I doubt they’d have one

ESO was not made by Bethesda and they’ve repeatedly stated they are still going to focus on single player games

Have Todd Howard voice all of the characters himself, including the voiced protagonist.

Make your character locked in and unchangeable, as a toddler moth priest who wanders around in a diaper.

First: Wait for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplay. And praise the modders beforehand.

Also ESO is not a mistake so far, but people like to claim everything. Otherwise the game wouldn't exist anymore.

Honestly. I'd play the hell out of that...

Part way through your character goes blind to save the developers from having to create textures and worlds for the rest of the game.
