Not sure why it's funny as most toothpaste do contain glycerine, which is from animals.
Colgate Total as an example is the only product range they have which uses synthetic products or vegetables and is fine for vegans.
The beaver thing is pretty much false nowadays
But on a serious note, thank you for leading me on Glycerine Quest, to determine toothpaste labelling standards in my locality, and the differences between animal, synthetic, and vegetable glycerine (I wrongly assumed it was always the latter two). Now I have to edit a previous post in light of this new knowledge.
