need help with safe search
so, for some reason, no matter if its chrome, explorer, firefox, safe search has turned itself on. i cannot turn it off. doesn't matter what search engine i use either, safe search has been turned on, on all of them. so there's websites and other things i cannot use on the internet. however, i can view the same block websites and content on my phone, so i don't understand the problem with my pc.
if anyone has heard of this before and has a solution then i would really appreciate this.

I’m nor sure, I’ve never seen something like this before personally. You said it works fine on your phone, so if someone else has access to your PC they might have caused it and just forgotten about Duck Duck Go since it isn’t that well known.

Is Google your default ? If so...

- Go to Search Settings.
- Under "SafeSearch filters," check or uncheck the box next to "Turn on SafeSearch."
- At the bottom of the page, select Save.

Otherwise. there's some very useful ( extensive ) information here -

Each search engine has settings, change them.

These settings might not "stick" if you are constantly wiping browser cookies, or simply not logging into an account you like to sync data across devices on.

Then you might have a virus/malware infection of some sort.
Do a full scan with Malwarebytes and tick options for "Warn User" and also "Scan of Rootkits"

Also check your browser settings are NOT set to "Delete Temp Files Upon Browser Exit"
and things of that sort.

And when making such change to browser or search engine types of settings, ensure only one browser tab is running when you do. As it might not immediately apply to other browser windowed content that is already open until all of the entire browser is fully closed out and re-launched again.
