- Go to Search Settings.
- Under "SafeSearch filters," check or uncheck the box next to "Turn on SafeSearch."
- At the bottom of the page, select Save.

These settings might not "stick" if you are constantly wiping browser cookies, or simply not logging into an account you like to sync data across devices on.
Do a full scan with Malwarebytes and tick options for "Warn User" and also "Scan of Rootkits"
Also check your browser settings are NOT set to "Delete Temp Files Upon Browser Exit"
and things of that sort.
And when making such change to browser or search engine types of settings, ensure only one browser tab is running when you do. As it might not immediately apply to other browser windowed content that is already open until all of the entire browser is fully closed out and re-launched again.
