What gaming company will stop making consoles first? Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft?

yeah microsoft allowing xbox one exclusives to be released on pc is a great decision by phil, however of course fanboys use this to claim that the xbone has no games.

I prefer watching playstation single-player only games (even if masterpieces) on walkthrough channels, im not stupid and a few exclusives are not gonna make me waste money on inferior hardware, while i enjoy Forza Horizon 4 on my PC with friends. Also looking forward to Halo Infinite, as its gonna be on PC too hopefully 343 makes a good game for once.

Most likely to stop making consule frist I would say Microsoft I hate to say this but in theory it got another 7 years to go and one last consule before it's chapter history. Sony is somewhere in between in thoery it got a good 35 years to come, Nintendo would endure a very long time in theory it got a whooping 300 years to go before it's chapter history. It's only a thoery, who knows apple may make it's own consule or artari may be revive.

That's your experience, and that's fine. My experience however is 2 Rrods, 1 hardware failure and 3 wireless controller failures. You trust microsoft because you won the 360 lottery, I hate them because I lost and that is how we differ.

At least my nintendo switch controller still works after a year after extensive use on pc. I'm happy with that.

i only had 2 xbox 360 , one got a red dot of death ( was a slim) exactly 1 day and 1 year after ther waranty ended , tell me what you want but thats rigged , almost exactly a year after my waranty ended

i would never get a console again after this and my ps2 somehow not working anymore from 1 day to the other ( couldnt read dvds and games anymore)

a pc outlives all consoles and you dont have to deal with that bs

I reckon nintendo can fix the switch online, but to do that they need to add more features. Add a built in voice chat feature instead of having a app for voice chat, enable cloud saves for all games, and instead of putting just nes games on switch online, put snes, n64, gcn, gb, gbc, gba and ds games on switch online, doing that will make it a good choice to buy the service.

Handhealds or AC-powered ones? I personally think the Switch counts more as the former than the latter, so you could argue that Nintendo has already left. If you count handhealds, I think Microsoft will be first. It's hard to say if or when consoles will die off, but if they do, Microsoft doesn't rely on them (in fact the Xbox division has ALWAYS been a loss for them overall), so they will be first to stop. Nintendo and *Sony are are dependant on them, so they will keep making them long after Microsoft has stopped.

*Sony USED to create a lot of high-end electronics, but around the late 00's/early 10's (ironically partially because of the funds they needed to pump into the PS3 to make it not ENTIRELY a failure), they slowly started to neglect and shut down production of most of their other products. Now the PS4 is just about the only thing making them money and keeping them afloat.

But it isn't the first one to connect to your TV, just the first one to be sold with the ability to do it at launch. I haven't followed the Switch for a while so Nintendo may already be doing this, but they could very easily just sell it without the dock.

But you would never call something like the PSP "both a home console and a handheald".
