REALISM: most of us are too busy enjoying our lives (or trying to) to spend minutes of our lives tweeting aimlessly into the void. this is extremely important to remember, as it prevents you from imagining twitter is actually important, as it isn't, and it's run by a bunch of idiots surfng on a hyperinflated share price.

a minority of idiots on a platform run by idiots making short-form posts about how something made them mad doth not a movement make, and nor does abjectly ignoring people who actually use said idiot platform to fruitlessly attempt a nuanced critique about writing in a videogame or how someone's marketing team are doing a bad job of things

edit: also while I'm at it, people who hyperfocus on random cringey mad idiots on twitter actually do that for ideological reasons more often than not, rather than mere humour or pretending to be a classical liberal (it's because they want to make you mad, and dehumanise entire other groups of people so you view them as your enemy. donate and subscribe now, earthling)

They aren't winning though. The pendulum is going back the other way. Sure they have mainstream media and lots of big money on their side, but they just keep getting loss after loss racked up even after all the effort and money they pour into the cause.

Regular people are getting fed up with sjws. And Simpsons is just jumping on a sinking ship, they've had the sword of damocles sitting above them for awhile as it is, and this is likely just their last move to try and stay relevant.
