Axis and Allies 2004 Atari
Anyone remember Axis and Allies on PC from Atari? I keep finding overpriced "new" copies on ebay and the like, but I was wondering, what about suggesting to Steam? I don't know how many others would like to see the game added, or how to go about suggesting to Steam to try to add the game to the store. What are y'all's opinion of the game/getting it added?

steam doesnt go looking for games to add. the game developer/publisher has to make the decision to put a game on steam. so if you want to see the game added to steam, go talk to who ever owns the distribution rights to it.

Contact the license holder for any game you want to see on Steam.

Valve does not make that decision.

thanks for commenting, and for the info. upon further research, I've discovered there's pretty much no chance of getting this game on Steam as the original developer shut down in 2013 to a Chapter 7 liquidation after losing a couple suits to SouthPeak.

I assume that you play Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory?

If not, try it, you're going to LOVE it.

I used to play ET a lot, but recently due to some issues with my ears, i can't really play much games.

I don't know. the only company involved in it that's still around is Atari.

You don't actually know what Axis and Allies is, do you?

I've seen this guy in a couple other threads, he's just spamming and promoting that game.

WW2, stragetic.

ET is based on the same themes but it's an FPS which is probably the best FPS based on WW2.

That's why i made the suggestion.

I've seen this same comment in a few other threads promoting this game. An FPS has nothing to do with Axis and Allies and is just spam. The version of A&A I'm talking about has many modes that bring the tabletop turn-based version of the game to the PC as well as it has a Real-Time Strategy mode which lets you partake in the battles instead of just "rolling dice" to see who wins. If you've played Company of Heroes or Starcraft, the mode I'm talking about is much like that.

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll give it a try. I'm personally a fan of the RTS mode from A&A, which is why I'm hoping to someday get ahold of it again.

A few times, sure. Not spamming. They were all spread out when users asked for suggestions.

Get it right.

This is probably the first time I've ever mentioned ET.

I do remember recommending it in the past in a few threads where some users have inquired about WW2 strategic games.

That's about 6-7 months ago.

Feel free to provide any source of where you've seen it being spammed.

I've never tried CH or Starcraft,

've seen this same comment in a few other threads promoting this game. An FPS has nothing to do with Axis and Allies and is just spam.

"Is just spam"...

It's a simple recommendation because of WW2 strategic games.

Thank you. After doing some research I found the only company still around that was involved was it's publisher, Atari. I have sent them an E-mail, but I'm not aware of who is currently the license holder since TimeGate defucnted and SouthPeak is dissolved.

Then perhaps I have you confused with someone else and I apologize. I have, however, seen this game mentioned in at least 5 threads as I was searching through the forums before opening my own discussion. I appreciate reccommendations, however Wolfenstein does not strike me as a strategic game. It's an FPS that is based on Doom.
