Darth Vader - Lost to his mentor, fried, poked his mentor later only for him to come back as a ghost, chopped off a n00b jedi's arm, choked another old guy, lost 2 death balls, and failed his one mission of killing his son. Oh, and was fried by another old guy that he threw in a hole. The only thing he really did was slaughter some kiddos in training, kill his own men, and kill old people.
Gandalf - Killed a corrupted god (the Balrog, look it up), died and came back, un-cursed a king by overpowering the most powerful wizard alive at the time, used his magic glowstick to fend off the Nazgul, and got rid of Denethor the utterly insane while saving his (unloved) son from burning alive.
Dumbledore - Stood around and watched, disappeared whenever any of the actual action happens, got his arm cursed, drank poison, died, came back at the very end to tell Harry that Voldemort killed part of his soul instead of Harry's, disappeared forever.
I'd say Gandalf is best, then Vader (because he at least did something), then Dumbledore.
Now THAT'S a killer.
Thats a complete and utter lie. Most of the ones who managed to flee the Temple were experienced Jedi. The kids didnt have the skills required to evade the kind of force that was sent after them.
At some point Vader even faced off against ~6 masters at once.
