fortnite is overrated

i just dont see why this game is so popular compared to almost everyother free game.

what makes it so special from any other game?

everywhere you go there is fortnite fortnite fortnite FORTNITE give it a rest for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake

on the bus to school all i hear fortnite

in class almost any word from a student i hear is fortnite

at lunch all i hear around me is fortnite

almost all the time in the hallway is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fortnite after fortnite and all i see is just people doing that cringy ass dance in fortnite

when i come home and get on the internet the only ads and most videos on youtube i see is just fortnite and fortnite and fortnite and fortnie and JUST QUIT IT ALREADY

my point is there are much better games than fortnite like ark or csgo or rainbow six or just about anything.

so i am saying that this game is the most overrated game in the history of mankind

Never did see the appeal of the battle royale gameplay experience. Much quicker to shoot people in Corl o'Dooty or similar.

There was not really much advertisement for fortnite when it first came out. I think it did well just becuase it was the first FTP and accessible battle royal game IMHO.

I'm gonna be honest. With you. With myself. I don't hate Fortnite. What I hate is overaggressive prepubescents - a hate that is probably just an extension of my own self-loathing, or perhaps a coping-mechanism in lieu of actual mourning for my lost childhood. I'm just a dude. As much as I'd like to, I just don't have it in me to genuinely hate everything.

How so? Epic games has shown themselves to be a respectfull part of the community. They dont rely on crappy microtransactions to make a game pay to win. Nor do they use a random loot box system. Instead they have a battle pass with clearly defined and non addictive goals and rewards as well as items you buy straight up on a daily rotation. Not only that but epic games is also fair with their own unreal engine providing it with its full features free of charge to hobbyists and small developers(Its also open source)

Please explain how you think epic games is like EA?
