Cult simulation/management style game

I was listening to a podcast the other day about cults and it made me think that a cult simulation/management type of game would be kind of fun. Not sure how it would play since I only thought up the very basic concept. Maybe similar to Civilization? It's probably a controversial idea, but there's games with worse content and not all cults are inherently bad. Thoughts?

Not quite what I was looking for since it seems to be more of a card game type thing, but then again I don't really even know what I'm looking for. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I know that RimWorld has a mod expansion that allows you to create a cult colony. I think the name of it was Call of Cthulhu - Rim of Madness Expansion Pack by Jecrell. I played with it back in B17, and had a blast with it. You can create a church room, and worship one of The Deep Ones. You can also sacrifice to them in hopes of getting a dark blessing. This tends to cause a colonist to have a limb replaced by a tentacle, or gain other mutations.

Cultist Simulator is probably your best bet for now, but personally I think its pacing is very rushed.

I honestly think that this game is what I'm looking for based on the description. Though I hope there's not just one way to play. Like if there's a way to some how win, it would be interesting if you could win in different ways like you can in Civilization. Regardless it looks like a lot of fun. It looks like it takes inspiration from Prison Architect, which I adore. Thanks again for the suggestions!
