Why Is It Called A 'Batarang' If It Doesn't Come Back?
Like, it's not a bat shaped boomerang. it's more of a bat shaped shuriken. So shouldn't be called a 'Batiken'?

Because batarang sounds alot more cooler and badass, i think?
But It does come back.
There's a different types of batarang that batman uses, like the Remote Controlled Batarang.

Because real Boomerangs don't come back, either.

Toy boomerangs fly in a circle, but the real thing doesn't. You wouldn't want it to.

Actually, I doubt that a Batarang is just an ordinary boomerang.

Take Captain Boomerang -- his boomerangs even return when he hits, and they can hit multiple cannon-fodder guys along the way. One can assume that Batman can build similar gadgets.
