Video Games, Gaming has hit a all time low
lol you know its bad when you can't even play a single player game offline hahahaa LMFAO download Denuvo games , dont' be scammed and fool.

gaming really has gone down hill , cant play single player games offline, capcom charging people money to obtain characters that are already suppose to be in the game HAHAHA, nintendo re-releasing old nes games and charging people money for them, sega re-releasing sonic 2 like a million times already haha, mmo's where you need money to open up a freaking loot crate.

gaming was so much better back in the day. the scamming is real bro.

The quality has, features depending in the game yes, but the pricing and pricing methods are ridiculous insane and a scammed. Also it really depends on how you look at it. I said it depends because look at Street Fighter 2 vs Street Fighter 4 and 5, SF2 blows both of them away in everything. Mortal Kombat by midway entertainment/williams entertainment vs the newer mk games, the new mk games sucks compared to MK1, MK2, MK3, UMK3, the old mk games has better music, correction way better music, sound effects, visuals.

I'm one of those gamer's who is stuck in the past, the 90's, but i also enjoy the newer it just depends on what they are. Sleeping dogs is my one of my favorite games ever though, its even better than GTA4 and 5.
I agree that in general, games aren’t as good as they used to be when it comes to consumer-friendly practices.

Screw intrusive always-online DRM. I tolerate non-intrusive DRM because it’s the only way to get games legitimately. But intrusive DRM can bugger off.

well i still buy Denuvo games, just depends on what it is. I bought doom recently from wal-mart. it plays offline, but only in single player mode, all the other modes including multiplayer seems to have disappeared.

or insefart fart joke simulator.
because say what you want about denuvo atleast they have enjoyable games to play while those soul less parisite "games" dont have anything.

Thank God for RPG's and RTS games. Those two categories make up most of my library, so I can play all but a few games when I'm offline, unless they aren't downloaded.

Its pretty uninteresting this year for sure. On steam I've only gotten like 2 games this year. A 99 cent joke game about loot crates called I can't believe its not gambling. And a game I got because I collect terraria-likes and its made by a diablo 1-2 dev called its lurks below. (Which has started disappointing me with its increasingly casual going direction).

I saw annoncment yesterday diablo 3 is coming to switch and I'm like "Who cares?!!!!" That always online real money auction house greed game killed diablo for me and any positive feelings I ever had for blizzard-activision.

If it weren't for indie games, PC gaming would be dead to me. Its just sad though at the same time indie games are killing nintendo for me, because they make the switch so much money nintendo won't launch the virtual console for it. Which was a gigantic reason why I wanted a switch.

So I'm head towards apathy for pc gaming, and apathy for console gaming.

This was probably the first steam summer sale where I didn't buy anything. And even turned down games my friend bought me.
