Honestly, the only reason those guys are still alive is plot armor. The kind of abuse Batman puts his enemies through would kill a person.

If it was the only way to prevent them from hurting and/ or killing other people, I would have to. Locking them up in reliable prisons would be preferable.

Really depends upon situations, for example... with Joker, I'll definetely kill him... cos here the judgement is pretty easy to make... as he is the reason so many people have died... and will die if he remains alive. In this type of scenario, it's easy to make judgement... as things are pretty clear... and we can easily differentiate between black and white.

While, obviously... I won't kill all the bad guys as Batman... and will send most of em to prison. But still it will be kinda hard for me to judge whether a person should die or not... as it is in itself a hard task... as we have to take care that our emotions doesn't come in the way. But obviously, I won't stick to default Batman's ethics/morale where he doesn't kill anyone at all... that's seriously not good in certain situations.

Back on point, Batman is a murderer, when first created he even used a gun and killed often and while my more recent knowlege of Batman is limited, I think I am right in saying in the 1989 Batman movie, Batman tells the Joker that he's going to kill him... before eventually killing him.

Poverty and lack of police funding are major factors explaining the rise of crime. Crime doesn't necessarily have to be a reaction to a person, it can be a reaction to poverty as it had been found that most criminals at financially illiterate.

Scandinavian countries have a much lower crime rate than our countries but it is difficult to explain as to why but I think it is variety of different factors.

He killed loads of people in Batman vs Superman movie, he just doesn't kill bosses... cause you know, bosses aren't some peasants whose lives are worthless...
