Pvp vp/va copolymer. What is it?
It's in my hairgel. I thought Polymers where plastics.. am i putting plastic in my hair? And Isn't it dangerous for the environment?

Can't find any legit sources, only blogs...

Polymers are strings of molecules, they're usually plastics but not always.

Some shampoos and body washes have tiny plastic granules called Microbeads through them, to help exfoliate and clean your skin and scalp. It's good for you skin, but really bad for the environment. And if that's even a minor concern, I'd change brands asap. Microbeads are a really bad pollutant, especially in river networks.

not sure if that's the case though, wikipedia said that it's also used in things like wine.. you don't put microplastics in wine..

It could be almost anything, since a polymer is just a daisychain of molecules. It could be plastic, or it could be something natural like a protein. You always try asking the company who made it, assuming your country has laws like mine, they should be obliged to run an information line for stuff like this. And have a number for that on the bottle.
