I'm sure plenty of native English speakers envy you. That's just how it works. :meadowwolf:
To be fair, not many people can speak Korean; the grass is always greener on the other side.

But engilsh is more worldwide then korean :3 not mocking or insulting korean but it is fact
That's okay. You don't understand english, it's not like english is a worldwide language that must be understood to be alive. Your native language is korean, nobody can change that. If you speak korean.

Anyway. if your native language is not english, and people insult you for it, just ignore them.

True, English is more globalized, but every language has its own advantages. South Korea is one of the countries well-known for having a good electronics and car industry, and I’m sure many international businesses want people who are fluent in Korean when they want to invest there.

I don’t. My English is better than theirs’.

English is hard to learn, to many oddball words that just don't translate well. To, Too are some of the simplest.

I married into a ready made Japanese family and the late wife used to complain like an SJW about how wonky english is.

English is one of the hardest languages to learn.

I'm not a native speaker either, but don't worry, you'll get the hang of it. It's a relatively easy language with fairly logical rules. Once you've mastered all the basics, try to immerse yourself in an english-speaking environment. You don't need to spend 6 months in America or the UK for that, just read books, watch shows and have conversations in english, and you'll learn the language without even realizing it. English is one of the few things you can learn by osmosis.

For me english was relatively easy to learn because I had some exercises books for children when I was a kid and then when I started playing videogames they were not yet translated back then, so I always had to learn it in a funny way while I was very young.
I never studied its rules I just got used to it at a very young age.
I can only read and write it though, I can't really talk in english, I never even really tried aside from the exercises when I was at school.
I had to learn french when I was much older than that and I remember it as a nightmare. It has been a miserable failure...
English was my first language when I was a child I can't even speak my country native language that well

I could see where English could be difficult because of so many cognates from other languages. It also has a lot of spelling exceptions with words pronounced differently. Native speakers have the advantage exeperience and practice. If you can watch some videos where people are speaking a lot and text provided, you should be able to see these exceptions and note any patterns.

don´t be mean to yourself, it´s hard as a native, after 12 years of learning english I still have a lot of mistakes to correct, and also it´s completely different talking/hearing it rather than writing it I suck at speaking it in what I think about myself, while I also don´t find chances to practice it, and when it comes to hearing, I usually have to repeat what I heard to understand what they say. So the best to do is always study, see, read, and hear stuff in english... at least to me, that´s one of the reasons why I like steam forums, I can practice it to see what I´m ok, what I´m wrong, and what did I improve, while I also know people and maybe help or have a good talk
