I can speak 29 languages, but only a couple words in each.
Usually Asians learn their native language first but for me I learned English then Tagalog. I had to use it when I went to the Philippines.
I can speak Latin.

Wherefore considerest thou the modern tongue, which many calleth Englishe, is the true Englishe? When ye may findest the pure tongue of Englishe in Shakespearean dialects, aye this is the rub, the true and veritable fount of Englishe.

I speak Spanish, but bilinguals, or polyglots, usually have a dominant language. Mine is English.
dias mio
I speak two more other than my native British (best) English.

I can't speak American or Liverpudlian however, those are beyond my ability to comprehend.

I speak English, know some French, can sing about a disco spider in Spanish, know enough Klingon to not acctually admit it in public, can decipher (but not speak) drunken Glaswegian and know what words should worry a sheep in Welsh.

When it comes to knowing other languages, I've never really been in a position to acctually use one.

Sooo, if I'm right, you're Filipino? In that case, hello my fellow countryman. I tried to think of a Tagalog greeting, but I really understand it better than I speak it.

Kamusta ka? (How are you?)

I only know basic greetings, hello, goodbye, where is, and numbers. Like I said.... I never use it much to actually be fluent in it.

Ha. Nice to see another Filipino on here. Although we really should stop this conversation before we end up getting reported for spam.
I'm learning sign language
