Very rare and obscure version of Half Life for Sega Dreamcast

Sadly, because the guy who designed the Dreamcast controller did while suffering from a stroke, so the one thumbstick and the D-pad were on the left side. So, for shooters, many of them mapped movement to the A, B, Y, X buttons, like MDK2 (and diagonal movements were accomplished by holding two of the buttons together.)

So, hl1 would have been doomed on the Dreamcast just because of the controls.

Luckily, the controller designer for Sega didn't suffer as debilitating a stroke as the guy who designed the N64 controller...

LOL. To this day I still have no idea what they were thinking with the N64 controller.

I think Dreamcast had a mouse + keyboard attachment. Not sure if it work for all the games though.

I think you're right, since Dreamcast was the first console to ship with online multiplayer support iirc

Still, I don't know how many games supported it

I was very happy to see Shenmue get ported from Dreamcast to PC here on Steam. Dreamcast did have some crazy exclusive titles
