That OST ain't right.
Ironically, I found FNaF1 and Porkchop's Adventure scarier than Outlast (Not that it's a bad game, but I had more fun closing doors on the killers and cheesing out hits that I was actually scared.)
Fatal Frame 2 is also worth mentioning.

That game, perfect balance of fighting enemies. Solving puzzles before something kills you.
This was also before they removed all sorts of weapons and counter measurement other than just running away. So the maps where adapted to running away and the enemies didn't chase you after a while. Got so boring in the sequels I stopped buying them.
