I broke my best friends trust and I want to make things right
I hurt someone that I hold close to my heart unintentionally and damaged our friendship. I feel so guilty and I want to restore her faith and trust in me. What can I do?

What did you do exactly?

It depends on what you did.

Sometimes sorry will never be enough.

Its a really long story. Basically I was playing overwatch with two of my friends including the one I am talking about, and I noticed she was getting upset with the game. I was really concerned so afterwards I sent her a text on discord saying she should try to control her anger more, and after that the other friend of mine told me that I seriously hurt her because of the fact that I was assuming she had anger problems and that she should control them, when in reality it was just her anxiety. I got so upset with myself that I ended up unfriending both of them from discord and steam which hurt her even more.
I think they blew that way out of proportion.

You NEVER should have unfriended her.SHE'S YOUR FRIEND, just doing that will make your already complicated problem even more complicated.Tell her that you yourself made a mistake and you must apologize about you assuming her being mad.

Apologize that you gave her anxiety and that you were upset it's your only one way ticket to fix it back or it will be a scar that will never go away.

In my experience of being a man, you never say that to a woman. You also never tell one to calm down when she's upset, never say she's wrong or never say anything negative about her.

I already did apologize. I think she accepted it but she is still hurt I believe, I am just trying to think of ways to rebuild trust
building a broken trust is hard but its a slow process, it's not something that will instantly happen in a snap of a finger but you must treat your friends such as her some respect from here and there.Just wait for a few months or weeks and it will graduall become better.

Give her some time for herself and she'll be back to her normal state.

I did do that as well, and I apologized. It wasn't enough though and I need to start actively doing things that build trust so I can restore her faith in me as a friend
Then that is what you do. Just ask her how you can fix it and that you want to fix it because you regret doing what you did.

How will you do anything ACTIVELY if you don't have personal contact?
