Do fanboys give bad ratings on good games on metacritic?
I've seen plenty of user reviews on metacritic on very good games, but some people give games a zero, often the ones that are exclusive to a console just to lower the metacritic user score because the game is not on the console they like.

Do you think these bad ratings are from fanboys, or are actual ratings because they didn't like the game?

If I didn’t like the game because bugs or bad game mechanics I would down vote it.

I don't even look at scores. Scores don't indicate to me if im going to enjoy the game. Plus haters will hate reguardless.

I known people on steam play a game for hundereds of hours and then rate the game crap, rubbish bah bah bah. Anyone with brains will realize thats if that game was soo rubbish then the person wouldn't have played it for so long.

Mostly happens with AAA+ games, COD is one game that always gets low scores. People rate it soo low but contine to buy the game year upon year, don't make sense if its so bad.

Well everything is literally a bump up from Pong. Still got to try and find a way to rate the good and bad in the here and now. The technical side of games is less important than the actual fun factor. Like Stalker a technically poor dated janky game, but fave PC game of all time.

You don't need to own the game to review it on Metacritic so you could just review bomb it and a lot of haters love this.

This is why Userscore on just MetaCritic is the most useless score to go after.

Kojima fanboys totally demolished Metal Gear Survives rating. It wasn't that bad of a game.
