JDM vs European Car markets?
The few things Japan has brought right into this world, is that they know how to make absolutely quality cars, The GTR R33/R34 and toyota supra's are absolute icons of what they've built.
Europe isn't far off however, what's your thoughts?

Question, if it's called JDM outside of Japan, would American imports be called ADM outside of America.

I agree the US second hand market has a wide variety of cars for sale, JDM, retro etc.

But muscle cars are no better .
IMO too much raw power with very poor handling isnt a very good idea.

even though I do like raw power
I don’t really know how to answer this one, because it seems like every region has makes, and models which are awesome, and those which are just horrible. I think you’d actually have to split it up by types, which I’d have to say.
Trucks-US
SUVs-US
Sedans-Japan
Sports cars-Japan
Coupes-Europe
super cars-Europe

I mostly prefer japanese cars.

In europe if japan export cars, the engine is not original, they take from any european car which pisses me off.

If I buy a japanese car, I would go straight to Japan and export to my country, sure i need to make tons of paper work and i prob spend more than 20000€ just to bring to europe

Japan has made some fantastic cars no doubt, but have they made cars that are revolutionary and last for 60 years? the answer to that is no. For cars like that you have to look at the British and one in particular. The Mini. The production of the 'classic' shaped Mini began in 1959 and ended in 2000, has Japan ever had a car in production for that long?, no. The late 50's early 60's were when BMC (later called British Leyland) were making decent cars that were affordable for most 'normal' people and were 'realistic' for the use case of most owners. If you wanted a small and efficient town car you'd buy a Mini because nothing else from other manufactures would match it, if the Mini name wasn't popular BMW wouldn't have wanted to buy the name.

I think japanese cars are boring, european cars for me. Im more of a hot hatch type of person, used to love fast fords back in the day.

I know quite a few who are into hatchbacks, there are definately some nice models in NA.

I watched wheeler dealer other day, the one with the american Escort Cosworth. It was my dream car back in the 90s, never owned on because it was way out of my price range. It did look sexy with the 3 wings ant placed.

Yeah BL had a slow decline through the 70's, 80's,90's and early 2000's. Making cars like the Allegro, Marina and Metro but you cannot deny the fact that the Mini was the best it's class at it's time because it just was.

I think the Metro tried to capture what the Mini did but it just didn't work out even when they tried to hide its identity by calling it a Rover 100. It's clear at this stage BL wasn't going to last for long and they didn't. BL became defuct in 1986 destroying nearly every brand, to this day only 4 still exist but owned by different owners.
