Great atmosphere. Fast paced bloody combat. Fun Weapons. Awesome Bossfights. Great Visuals. Otherworldy OSTs.
I'd pick Bloodborne over any game you'd compare it too. But it's one of my fav games. So I am biased.
Nioh is basically discount darksouls.
Only thing is, it had some frame pacing issues on PS4, not even the Pro could fix, wonder if its fine now..
Bloodborne was bad
Nioh suffers from having too much farming involved both in terms of equipment (because unlike the souls game, your stuff matters a lot) and in terms of xp
Bloodborne suffers from the frustratingly hard last third, basically, no matter your stuff or you stats, pretty much everything will one shot or two shot kill you in the last third of the game... when you're still in new game, it just kills the fun.
Also during most of the game you'll have to "parry" which in this game translates to "shooting with your gun at the right moment" to stagger your ennemies to deal with them easily, well the last third also mostly ditches that mechanic
