Would the world be a better place if Germany won WW1?
I don't know a lot about WW1, but if Germany won the war, then there wouldn't be very likely to have WW2, and therefore many lives were saved and the jews would not be blamed for Germanys problems.

Germany were an empire with an emperor, their ideology were not as bad as Nazi-Germanys , and maybe they would even develop democracy?

What are your toughts? Do you think of an alternate future?

i thought i was on the hoi4 forums for a second

ww2 would still happen, just reversed sides i'm betting

france and the UK want their colonies back, and want revenge on germany because of their bitterness over losing the great war

world would be a worse place i'm thinking.

Interesting, i did not think of that.

Do you think the "losers" of the wars would have adopted the same (or simlar) type of ideology as Nazi-Germany had? It's hard to imagine a "Nazi-Britain"
Well, if they had won, I think the whole "hitler blaming jews and minorities for handicapping them in ww1" wouldnt happen, and the whole Nazi party ideology would have been either delayed or wouldn't have happened.

Nazi Britain could have been a thing, they had a party and everything

I feel like they would have fallen into communism more than a right-wing ideology, anything's possible though.

I'm betting if anyone stayed the same for the most part, it'd be italy. If mussolini survived the war he probably still would have created fascism, and eventually taken over italy in a fascist uprising

who could say if it spread to france and the UK though

That's what i think too, if there weren't any Nazi ideology. Then Germany would have been the "good" guys. Just like Britain, Russia and france were.

I saw some where like: "In war there are no good or bad only winners and losers, and the winners would re-write history to make themselves the good guys"
Germany likely would have become a Marxist-Leninist socialist state or some weird pseudo-strasserist state. The conditions were already present regardless if Germany won WW1 (economic disparity, destruction following ww1, nationalism, etc.). If Germany went M-L, then they'd have likely joined the USSR. if they were strasserist, then idk, because even though strasserism is concerned with the conditions of the working class, it's closer fascism than communism.
