Phantom mob is the dumbest idea jeb (Or any other minecraft dev) has ever had in his(their) minecraft career.

I actually like playing the game without using the freaking OP beds! Ruining the game for players who don't want to skip every night and actually like needing a base over a bed in the middle of no where or in a tree.

He's lucky he kept his first ever world.

I remember back when snow didn't regenerate. I hid from mobs in a tree top. Then I built the wood paths to the other tree tops. Then I made a huge wood fort from it. Then I started a mine in the distance. This was before beds, so you actually had to have a serious base.

For added fun I didn't have my mineshaft under the base. After a while I cobble walls over the wood walls, and then more layers and the fort got bigger and bigger. It became bigger than my render distance. And there was a bug back then when a chunk could revert to its freshly generated state, that happened with a second of the base twice.

There was no charcoal, so torch conservation was a thing.

It was hardly my first world, but it was my first memorable build one.

I always thought I couldn't make a nether skeleton farm because my pc couldn't take all the piston updates. But this could make it really easy. Gives an actual use to the daylight sensor too (Villagers are better day sensors)
