I the answer is "a lot" then you'd be able to buy your way in. If "not that much", consider community college for upgrades or vocational school.
I was in a similar situation myself for a very long time but now I'm pulling through. It's not the end of the world; worry about it but don't drive yourself crazy just yet.
Hello and welcome to McDonalds, how can i help?
Work harder. But also question the reason behind this horrible GPA. I believe community colleges would review your applies though. What i would love to know is, how do you manage to say "apparently"?
Is it overall for the whole 4 years or just one year?
If you want to go into college, you need to bring up that GPA by going to, what I have been told, is called an adult school. Might go by another name, not to sure.
Don't take offense, but do you have a learning disability? or some form of developmental disability?
Might want to rethink college then, because the classes may become even more difficult, and they aren't free. So if you don't do well in college, and dropout, you're essentially wasting money...lots of money.
And yeah, no college would accept you with. I know some colleges will accept students with 2.7 GPAs, but most want applicants to have at least at a 3.0. If you really want to go to college, maybe retake the classes you failed in high school, and/or go to community college for a bit.
