How much money do you and your family have?

I the answer is "a lot" then you'd be able to buy your way in. If "not that much", consider community college for upgrades or vocational school.
Usually, a GPA like this is caused by personal issues rather than a lack of abilities. I'm not all that familiar with the american education system so I can't give you detailed advice, but you'll certainly have to go through community college to improve it. It'll take more time and effort to reach your objectives, but that doesn't mean you're going to be flipping burgers for the rest of your life.

I was in a similar situation myself for a very long time but now I'm pulling through. It's not the end of the world; worry about it but don't drive yourself crazy just yet.

Is that even possible? You've been getting only D's and F's?

Hello and welcome to McDonalds, how can i help?

Work harder. But also question the reason behind this horrible GPA. I believe community colleges would review your applies though. What i would love to know is, how do you manage to say "apparently"?

That is below the F range.

Is it overall for the whole 4 years or just one year?

Yea they won't accept it. Chances for you being accepted is very low.

If you want to go into college, you need to bring up that GPA by going to, what I have been told, is called an adult school. Might go by another name, not to sure.
Bruh I how did you pass each year that makes no sense.
Damn dude....
Don't take offense, but do you have a learning disability? or some form of developmental disability?

Might want to rethink college then, because the classes may become even more difficult, and they aren't free. So if you don't do well in college, and dropout, you're essentially wasting money...lots of money.
You'd have to have failed everything to get a GPA like that. Are you sure you didn't get a 1.6 or 2.6 or something and just misremembered/misheard?

And yeah, no college would accept you with. I know some colleges will accept students with 2.7 GPAs, but most want applicants to have at least at a 3.0. If you really want to go to college, maybe retake the classes you failed in high school, and/or go to community college for a bit.
