Mc Affee antivirus

i have it but it keeps asking me to update to the plus version for free.... is this a pop up virus or does it really upgrade if i click the restart option?

uh no, it's one of the lowest rated ones out there... if not the worst mainstream AV...

Unless i am about kaspersky? was it not one of those AV that FBI removed due to security risk?

Like others said I would go with Malwarebytes instead, and with my choice ESET as the antivirus.

I would've suggested AVG but it went downhill.

McAfee is terrible. It killed my computer about 10 years ago after the software went berserk. Never used it since. If you're bored you should read about how McAfee single-handedly shut down several hospitals and schools around that same time.
