Fanatical are great, they have daily Star deals that can be a great price for games you might be interested in getting, they sometimes have great bundles worth to get as well.
Humble bundle is like a weekly, and monthly kind of thing, since each week a bundle might be worth to get, and then there the monthly bundle which is taking a chance you might get good games in it, or not.
Well, it's got the the same problem that most sales have -- a huge number of games, and no useful way to sort/filter them.
I don't currently know whether isthereanydeal picks up the summer sale deals, so I'd at least get notified about stuff that's on my Waitlist. I do occasionally look up a game or two on such sales, but for the most part I completely ignore them outside of Waitlist notifications.
In fact, most of my "off the track" purchases did not come from such large sales. Small sales, such as the Star Deal or publisher sales, have a much better chance for me to actually look at games that aren't on my radar already.
The current Killer Bundle XI is a good example. The bundle is $4.50, and I wanted Zenith and Signal from Tolva. During Steam sales, they usually discount to $5 each, so getting both for $4.50 is a good deal.
