Spec Ops; The LIne is a great linear FPS of about that length. That would be a nice place to start.
And that length of play is also problematic, since most games pride themselves on length. It's a major selling point, some RPGs have over 100 hours of length.
They're (almost) all action games with classic, memorable characters and moments.
Dante (the guy you play as) gets to pick up and use some sweet weapons to style with,
and to use against even more types of demons that should all vary from one another.
That, and perhaps the "Legacy of Kain" series if you're looking for something really different.
Now THAT'S a Shakespearean series.
Neither of those is linear. They're both open-world.
Not entirely linear but all areas can be explored in 120 or so seconds.
