Are the PS4 exclusives as good as people say?

There are a lot of PS4 exclusives that have received amazing ratings, such as:

-Uncharted 4
-God of War
-The Last of Us
...

These games sure do look good to me, but are they really some of the best games ever as people say, or they're just overrated and the reviews are sponsored / promoted so that people could buy a PS4 for these games?

I'd really like to know what do you guys think of these games IF YOU'VE PLAYED THEM because I'm considering buying a PS4 even though I've been a PC gamer for over a decade and never owned a console. I don't mind worse graphics, framerate, controls or anything at all.

I played Horizon Zero Dawn...
It's miracle - i played hundreds of games in last 20 years, Horizon Zero Dawn is in top 5 ... When i played Witcher 3,i believed i won't seen better graphic than that,but i was wrong ... I can't remember better storyline than Horizon Zero Dawn have ... Anways, for me personally , Horizon Zero Dawn was worth of decision to get myself PS$ Pro ...

I like my Playstation because i finally had a chance to play and complete game called Dark Cloud - game i started as a child on my Playstation 2,had a demo version 15 years ago, and now i completed it in 2018 :)

The Last of Us has a deeper, twisting, turning, and brutal storyline that shocks the player at some times and makes them dang near cry at other points. I've played through the storyline twice so far, and I'd play through it more if I still owned the game. The gunplay in this game is very good and felt very natural to me. A gun sounds like a gun, including a reverberating echo that attracts clickers and human opponents to your location. Guns (and the accompanying bullets) are rare things to be cherished and used only in desperate situations, which is why the mains weapons you'll be using in The Last of Us are either melee weapons such as shivs, or a 2x4, or they're silent killers such as bow n' arrow. Due to the "zombies" in The Last of Us being sound-dependant, this creates heart stopping moments and enthralling fights.

I'd say this really comes down to how you personally like to play games. Because many of the best PS4 exclusives are third person action adventure games.

I personally like games that are of the story-driven action adventure variety. So naturally I like games like Uncharted. (My all-time favorite game series actually)

If you like the newer Tomb Raider games, Uncharted is similarish to those games. But Uncharted is more light-hearted in tone, and they are much better designed games.


I'd say the Uncharted series is reason enough for buying a PS4 so long as you enjoy third person action adventure games.

I played Uncharted 1-4 and TLoU. They are better movies than games, to be honest, although their gameplay value isn't as nonexistent as let's say in any Telltale game. They can be fun, have some good multiplayers too, but after I went through the stories - and those games are quite on-the-rails - there really isn't much more to do but to move on.
