is it okay to be a furry?

so lately i have been having the idea to add more animal characterstics to my warderobe, like a furry tail in the back of my pants and fox ears.

it's just that i am so afraid of the reaction of people that i just keep everything in the closet for now until i gather to courage to wear it in public.



do u guys think there is something mentally wrong with people who want to be furry?

Furries are supposed to be together not the same. You can be morally questioned by normal people for this, but there is a supportive community that is not covered all that often.

Only the weird, controversial, sexual side of furries are covered in mainstream media.

What exactly would someone that doesn't have a mental issue think? I'm sure everyone has a "mental issue," some only consider it to be more normal than others because they can relate. Maybe the person relating and the person talking about their "mental issue," are both insane, but a lot of people have this so called "mental issue," does that make all of those people insane, retarded, ect.? We're just different, that doesn't mean that we have mental issues, and just to clarrify, I'm not defending everyone with a serious mental issue, for example, someone with low sanity, someone that wants to go on a murdering spree as an example, or a pedo.
