is it okay to be a furry?

so lately i have been having the idea to add more animal characterstics to my warderobe, like a furry tail in the back of my pants and fox ears.

it's just that i am so afraid of the reaction of people that i just keep everything in the closet for now until i gather to courage to wear it in public.
