Why Do Many Men Prefer Light Skinned Girls over Dark?
It is evident why many men prefer young women over old; however, it isn't evident why many men prefer light skinned females over dark? Is there an evolutionary reason for that?

Solution: What is considered attractive is CULTURAL and has no evolutionary advantages.

I don't have any preferences.

i think you're mistaken here, it's all down to personal reasons

iirc light skin is associated with fertility

Perhaps, the answer to this is that it is CULTURAL and it has nothing to do with any evolutionary advantages. For example, in the past I read that men preferred plump girls while today, it's skinny girls.

I think you’re assuming many men prefer young girls over mature women and light skin over dark, as it is simply your own preference. We all have our preferences of what we have in a person. It’s better not to generalize by saying “many men”.

Although quite a bit can probably be how social media and society portrays “beauty”, as well, like you said, cultural differences

Many, means a large amount. It does not mean ALL.

I hope tanning salons don't catch wind of this.

I have to admit that I was never attracted to black women simply because they are so drastically different from me in appearance; however, my views on them changed when I lived in a area where their population was predominant. I became accustomed to them.

Tanning is artificial; a wolf in sheep's clothing will still produce wolves when it mates.

It's because they're racists.

I assume that's the answer you're trolling for?

Preference is not racism.

I assume that's what the OP might be looking for but sexual preference isn't racist. I don't care if you're white, black, yellow or green i just don't tend to find black girls sexy.

If you have read some answers, I already gave the solution. What is considered attractive is CULTURAL and has no evolutionary advantages.
