I made a play sword purely out of tape and cardboard when I was really young, with the help of one of my cousins. I had fun. I'm glad Nintendo is seeing that it can be fun. It's a lot better than everything handed to children already done for them to use.
The Switch allows you to keep your downloaded games associated with your Nintendo account, rather than have them stuck to the game console, which is the case with the Wii U.
Physical copies are still attached to the physical medium, however.
However, these aren't enough to make me shell out $300 plus the cost of Splatoon 2 to buy it yet.
Even if it were a legal method, I'd need a computer capable of handling the emulation, which I don't, so I'd just be shelling out at least several hundred dollars.
So I might as well just buy the actual console, new, which would only cost me about $300. And it's guaranteed to work or my money back.
