I understand some rap and hip-hop artists are talented, music is an art, a form of expression, but you have to draw the line somewhere. These people make money off this, they make more than people who study 6-10 years in law or medical schools. What the ♥♥♥♥ has this world come to.

If you re listening to top 40 rap then there is your problem. Not all rap music is about materialism or drugs. Some rappers rap about political issues or other, more positive things.


And yes, rapping does take skill.

Did I say, all rap is bad? Did I say rap takes no skill? If you had read, I asked why mongoloids as shown above are given a shred of popularity, because that takes literally no skill. And for the record, the skill required for rap is nowhere near that required for something like rock, country or classical.

Country is fine. You need to play an instrument, and be able to write actual lyrics and music. Neither of those skills are required for rap.

Unless I'm mistaken rap music has lyrics. That's literally the most important part of rap.
