(Please Lock) Why do talentless rap musicians get popular?
I was wondering why imbecils like this,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19kVq4Spk-Y

this,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qku2WZ7aRYw

and this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjUiFeDKo_0

even get remotely popular? What is the substance? Where is any sort of talent whatsoever being shown? Why?

I understand some rap and hip-hop artists are talented, music is an art, a form of expression, but you have to draw the line somewhere. These people make money off this, they make more than people who study 6-10 years in law or medical schools. What the ♥♥♥♥ has this world come to.

Basically sums up my view on the subject.

If you re listening to top 40 rap then there is your problem. Not all rap music is about materialism or drugs. Some rappers rap about political issues or other, more positive things.

And yes, rapping does take skill.

Did I say, all rap is bad? Did I say rap takes no skill? If you had read, I asked why mongoloids as shown above are given a shred of popularity, because that takes literally no skill. And for the record, the skill required for rap is nowhere near that required for something like rock, country or classical.

Country is fine. You need to play an instrument, and be able to write actual lyrics and music. Neither of those skills are required for rap.

You honestly have no idea what you're talking about, you act like whenever a rap song is made its just magically pumped out from a 3D printer. :steamfacepalm: it takes great skill for any genre of music to sound authentic but unfortunately today a lot of it sounds generic and over done to hell and back, today's rap is pure trash I agree there, but 90s rap is the best, idgaf what anybody says.

Some artist of today, however I like their stuff, like a$ap rocky for example.

Okay, you're autistic. I never said rap as a whole is bad, or takes no skill, I asked why rap that is bad or takes no skill is popular. Take time to process before you post you tard.

Rap is a diverse genre just like Metal. You can't just listen to a few songs from the top 40 (which is bound to be ♥♥♥♥, that's par for the course no matter what genre you're talking about) and say that the whole genre sucks.
BRM62C 11. feb. 2018 kl. 0:05
I like their music dude

Let's see if you write something remotely catchy to these "imbiciels'" music. The point is that it's catchy, people like catchy music if you didn't notice.

It's not like Metal has its share of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ songs or anything

I never said rap takes no skill, and you legit have autism if you think I just said rap as a whole is bad. That is the polar opposite of what I said, learn english please.

They don't write it, they get someone else too, and the catchy part is a click of a few buttons in fl studio.

You don't need to play an instrument, or need to write lyrics or music, idiot. That doesn't mean it needs no skill, just none of those.

Unless I'm mistaken rap music has lyrics. That's literally the most important part of rap.
