I hope you realize you can enjoy something without being part of the fandom/subculture/community right?
i cant exactly fault you all that much, being part of the fandom myself XD
and yes, I have enough self reflection to admit many furries are cringy and weird and ugh
most cannot afford it because it costs waaay to much (dont want to sound overly like a smartass but we call them fursuits most of the time XD i mean you can call it whatever you wish, just putting this out there)
but i mean yeah, the suit isnt necessarily required to be part of the fandom as much as its i guess, just adds to the immersion
Aye, I watched adventure time for ages before ever looking up fan works. I still have nothing to do with it's community.
Agreed. Especially the role-playing makes me want to jump off a bridge.
Agreed, they cost a small fortune, they look stupid and I'd rather not walk around in a giant human sized oven for hours on end.
I made friends once with a female furry artist who streamed. All was fine. Then one day she decided she wanted an online furry familiy. So during her adult stream there were baby fur role players talking like babies.
I tried to stay cuz I considered her my friend and all. But I have limits!
