Sending Game Clips To People
I am trying to start a YouTube channel with a couple of friends and the first video we want to make is like a “Welcome To Our Channel” video showing all of our best clips. The problem is that how do we send our clips to one person so they can put them into a video editor and make the video and post it.

Upload it to online storage, Email it to your friend, and say good luck?

You got local copies of those clips? Upload them to a chunk of cloud storage and give them access to that.

Their trying to send their clips to me, so how would they send a large video file to me without using outlook or hotmail. Those email sites have a limit of how big the video file can be. Also what do you mean by local copy and how would they put the video file into a cloud storage.

Send them via a torrent client, it's perfect for large files and also verifies the integrity of them.

I don’t understand what a Torrent Client is. Can you explain a bit more please.

Torrent clients are software that uses p2p network technology to share files between computers without the need of any third-party hosting service. It's a lot more faster and efficient way of transfering large files or many files in one go directly from your computer to the receivers computer.

What you do with the program is to create a torrent file of the file you want (or select a folder containing several files) and let it "seed" with your client running.
You will have to send the torrent file (only some kilobytes) to your friends with something like a chat program etc. and they will open it with their client. Once that is done, they will start downloading the file(s) while you upload it to them directly.

I recommend the qBittorrent client since it's free and open-source, meaning it won't contain any ad-ware.

Ok I will try that. One of my friend did try a client called “FileMail” and sent a clip to me. When I tried to play the clip it pulled out Windows Media Player and wouldn’t play the clip. It said something about having the wrong software of codec to play the clip. Also the clip was taken with Nvidia GeForce Experience.

Get VLC media player. It has support for all the files formats you need and it's also free.

Since my Windows Media Player wont work do you think I could just put the downloaded clip into a video editor and view it their or should I view the video first in a media player.

Since you're going to edit the video anyway, you might as well just open and view it in an editor.

Do you think it would still play in the video editor even though it won’t play in my Windows Media Player.

It depends on what video editor you're using and if it features support for the format. You'll just have to check and read the application's FAQ or instructions.
