Why are PC players so mean to console players?

I play both PC and console.

I don't see why there's this stupid controversy over "PC master race" and stuff. I don't understand why PC players are so mean to console players simply because they play a different platform. For one thing, good luck finding hackers and framerate lag on console.

Seriously, there's nothing wrong with being a "console pleb" if that's what you want to call it.

It's from the Xbox/Playstation users (Mostly Xbox) commenting how expensive a PC can be by using unrealistic numbers like $2000, and complaining how the human eye can't see 60 frames per second. So, they basically made a bad stereotype for themselves and people target them because they seem like easy targets.

I'm the kind of person who plays video games on anything. Don't care if it's a console or a PC.

Those PC elitists don't even know the true meaning of the PC Master Race. The reddit community is actually just a bunch of PC hardware enthusiasts with satirical elements but willing to 'ascend' those people to get a better gaming experience with a reasonably priced custom PC (until the crypto mining started to get out of hand).

I play on PC for cheaper and older games, since I don't have a very good machine and I'm broke as ♥♥♥♥.

I play on consoles for the newer released triple A games, games that I wouldn't be able to run here.

This whole PC vs console war is petty as ♥♥♥♥. It's just video games. Why are you interested in what another stranger plays and what they play it on to the point where you have to engage in an elitist argument. I've been part of these before and I've finally grown out of it after realizing how stupid and pointless it is.
